Throughout the upcoming theater residency, we are planning five diverse and exciting productions that will showcase a wide range of stories, characters, and emotions. The productions we have in store for you are:
1. Club 44: A gripping drama set in a prohibition-era speakeasy, where ambition, love, and betrayal collide under the flickering lights and smooth melodies of jazz.
2. Blue: An introspective exploration of human emotions, relationships, and the power of facing your truth head-on.
3. Princess Nylah and the Journey to the Magic Window: Princess Nylah sets out on a magical quest to save her kingdom, encountering mystical creatures and overcoming personal challenges along the way.
4. The Dark Side of the Moon: Dive into the depths of the human psyche and navigate the intricacies of personal struggles and mental health in this thought-provoking exploration.

Video Audition Instructions for Small House Productions Theater Residency:
Thank you for your interest in the Theater Residency program with Small House Productions! To audition, please follow the instructions below:
1. ​Introduction: Begin your video audition with a brief introduction, stating your name, age, and contact information. Feel free to include any relevant experience or training.

Monologue: Prepare a one to two-minute contemporary monologue of your choice. Choose material that showcases your acting range and abilities. Ensure that the monologue is age-appropriate.

Song (optional): If you are a singer, you may include a one to two-minute song that highlights your vocal range and abilities. Select a song from the musical theater or contemporary repertoire that best suits your voice.

Additional Requirements: The video audition should capture your full-body performance. Ensure that the video quality is clear and well-lit, with good sound quality. Avoid excessive background noise or distractions.

Slates: Before starting your monologue or song, state your name and the title of the piece you will be performing.

Internship Positions Available:
1. Production Assistant: Assist with various tasks during shoots, provide logistical support, and ensure smooth operations on set.
2. Editing Intern: Work closely with our editing team, learning cutting-edge techniques and gaining hands-on experience using industry-standard software.
3. Social Media Intern: Help manage our social media platforms, engage with our audience, and promote our brand.
4. Stage Manager Intern: Work closely with the director, actors, and technical crew to ensure that every aspect of the performance is coorinated seamlessly.
5. Audio/Visual Intern: Assist in sound engineering, camera operation, lighting setups, and other vital technical aspects of production.
6. Event Staff Assistant: Work with events team to ensure set-up, breakdown and overall patron experience is enjoyable.
Requirements:
- Minimum commitment of 5 hours per week.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of the production process (preferred but not required).
